About Me: Cheryl Foster, Founder of Obey Him Sis
Hi Sis! I’m Cheryl Foster, the voice behind the Obey Him Sis podcast and blog. I gave my life to Christ on May 16, 2024, after 27 years of doing things my way. It’s been a journey of obedience ever since, and let me tell you—God’s grace is the real MVP. I’m from Baltimore, Maryland, with strong family roots in the beautiful islands of Trinidad and Tobago, so you already know my personality brings that mix of city spice and island vibes!
I’m a storyteller at heart, and I recently stepped into the role of author with my children’s book, Chosen by the Father, now available on Amazon. This book holds a special place in my heart as it shares a message of God’s unconditional love through the eyes of a young girl. I’d love for you to check it out, and if you do, please leave a review—it would mean the world to me!
As a writer-turned-podcaster, I’m passionate about encouraging women to grow closer to God. Whether it’s through sharing funny stories, dissecting scripture, or just being real about the ups and downs of faith, my goal is to create a space where you can laugh, learn, and feel supported on your spiritual journey.
If you’re ready to dive deeper into your walk with Christ, grow in your understanding of God’s word, and join a sisterhood of women who are striving for holiness, then you’re in the right place. So grab your Bible, maybe a cup of coffee, and let’s grow together! Don’t forget to listen to the podcast, share it with a friend, and leave a review. God bless, Sis! 💕
